Daniel Walker’s music has been heard around the world on the concert stage, in film and on television. Walker grew up in Denver, Colorado and after stints directing music for live theater, and as a keyboardist for the rock band Nice Brothers, Walker focused his creative attention on music composition for media. In 1999 Walker began an artistic collaboration with noted concert pianist Kong Xiangdong, in an extraordinary concert performance in Lhasa, Tibet. The project established a continuing partnership with Kong through which the pianist has premiered a number of new works by the composer.
